9th Iraq International Energy Exhibition & Conference

The 9th Iraq Energy Exhibition & Conference was launched on Baghdad International Fair Gound, with the participation of more than 200 local and international companies from 61 countries specialized in electric energy sector.
This event sponsored by the Prime Minister representative and several ministers, parliament representatives and ambassadors.
The exhibition opening by the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, the Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayyan Abdul Ghani, Mr. Ziad Ali Fadil the  Minster of Electricity.
As their excellency toured through the exhibition paths, meeting with Mr. Ahmed Ismail Saleh, the chairman of Mass Group Holding Ltd, they expressed their admiration of Mass Group projects section and praised on the company’s efforts and the importance of its strategic projects in the energy sector, especially Besmaya Gas Power Station project, which occupies the forefront in Iraq in terms of production and construction in one location, where all the plant production is allocated to Baghdad, the plant output is 4,500 MW, supply 80% of Baghdad allocations and the group aspires for more development.

The exhibition & conference aim to gain insight into the global technology to elevate the electricity, communications, information, and energy sectors.
In addition to possessing the new technologies, follow up on technical and economic developments in renewable energy sector to gain advantages and enhance the efficiency of the electrical systems.
The importance of the exhibition is to highlight the power plants and the Ministry of Electricity efforts in generation, transmission, and distribution of power, as well as introducing foreign companies operating in Iraq.
